WWE’s Commercial
For Samoa Joe, his role as the body of ‘Sweet Tooth’ is the ROH World Television Champion’s biggest role to date. During this week’s Raw, WWE aired a commercial for the show, as well as a graphic promoting the show. Fans were quick to notice that Sweet Tooth was not part of either piece of promotional material. On Twitter, Joe saw the funny side of things, saying that fans know what’s up, moments after the commercial aired.

One fan who responded to Joe said that advertising Twisted Metal without Sweet Tooth is akin to promoting Disney without Mickey Mouse. The psychotic clown debuted in the first Twisted Metal game and has become the franchise’s mascot, appearing on every cover of every Twisted Metal video game. While Joe provides the imposing body of Sweet Tooth, Will Arnett (Bojack Horseman, The LEGO Batman Movie) voices the character.

‘Twisted Metal’ isn’t the only major acting role for the reigning ROH World Television Champion. The AEW star is also set to be part of the upcoming ‘Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’ video game which is due to release next year. Joe will voice the role of King Shark in the game which will feature the titular squad of death-row criminals trying to stop a corrupted Justice League from destroying the world.
