The economic aid continues in the United States.
Although inflation has been declining in recent months, the truth is that the figures continue to be high, which is why citizens continue to deal with financial problems to make ends meet.
For this reason, and due to the lack of a fourth stimulus check, some states and cities have chosen to offer their own financial aid. A clear example of this will be the beneficiaries with a payment of up to $9,600 dollars.
Here’s the lowdown on who will be the lucky ones to receive the payment, when it will arrive and how to request it.$9,600 checks: When do they arrive and who is eligible?
The $9,600 checks will go only to residents of Coachella, California, through the city’s Immigrant Families Recovery Program.
The total amount of aid will be divided into monthly payments over two years, resulting in payments of $400 per month. It is worth mentioning that the objective of the Program is to provide financial assistance to immigrants who were not eligible for federal aid due to covid-19.
To be eligible you must have the following requirements:
- Be a resident of Coachella
- Have an individual income of less than $75,000 dollars per year, or $150,000 for families (2021)
- Be over 18 years of age
- Have government-issued photo identification
- Have a child under 12 years of age, who must have been living under the same roof as the applicant during 2021 and until the present
If you meet the eligibility requirements, submit your application through the Mission Asset Fund website. The deadline to submit the application is November 11 at 5:00 p.m. (Pacific time).
It is worth mentioning that only 140 beneficiaries will be chosen. Those chosen will be notified next December.
