The Equalizer actress wowed fans with the outfit she wore at the 2022 New York Ballet Fall Fashion Gala at Lincoln Center in September. A few weeks later fans are still buzzing about the emerald green and black jeweled overcoat. The floor-length piece was worn over a simple black satin shirt and pant ensemble. Queen Latifah completed her look with subtle smokey eye and sleek straightened hair. For her accessorizes, the CBS star donned diamond hoop earrings and platform chunky brown loafers shoes paired with a small bag.
In case you’re wondering, the red carpet event was to showcase fashion collaborations between choreographers and designers in the ballet space. Naturally, Queen Latifah dressed for the occasion.

After The Equalizer cast member shared a video to Instagram featuring a bunch of photos from the event, her followers couldn’t stop gushing over her vibrant look.
“Stunning, elegant and timeless! ✅✅✅,” one person wrote in her comments section. “Oh my god amazing outfits,” another added. “Yasssssss 🔥🔥🔥,” a different fan said.
Of course, folks aren’t just talking about the 52-year-old singer’s amazing sense of style. On October 2, she returned to TV screens with The Equalizer season 3 premiere.
The award-winning hip-hop artist stars as Robyn McCall, a former CIA operative turned vigilante. As both the star and an executive producer of the show, Queen Latifah told Variety back in May that she is lucky to have the chance to explore new storylines on the show.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to have a film career where we were always coming up with new things,” she said to Variety. “We’re always trying to push the envelope and be more creative, so I bring that mentality to television. How can we push it even further? How can we make it even more beautiful or more interesting?”
With season 3 just beginning (new episodes air every Sunday night on CBS and Paramount+) and season 4 already confirmed, we’re sure we’ll be seeing many more red carpet looks from Queen Latifah in the coming months, giving us lots to look forward to.
