The Australian soft rock singing duo became friends and began performing in coffee bars and pizza parlors before recording their first single for CBS Records, “Love and Other Bruises,” which did well on the charts.
After the “Jesus Christ Superstar” production ended in 1976, the duo opened for Rod Stewart in Australia and continued with Rockin’ Rod’s North American tour in 1977.
