“First of All, That’s up to President Trump. That’s a Decision He Needs To Make With His Team”
When asked about her willingness to accept an offer to be Trump’s running mate, Greene initially evaded a direct response.
Instead, she launched into a discussion about her political career, saying, “First of all, that’s up to President Trump. That’s a decision he needs to make with his team.”
She emphasized her commitment to her current role and said, “More importantly, I serve Georgia’s 14th district right now. That’s the district I’m focused on. It’s my hometown. It’s all the people I know and love. They’re the ones that sent me to Congress to work for them.”
Greene underscored her focus on addressing various issues, including her involvement in the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden.
Her Efforts to Combat the Fentanyl Crisis in Georgia
Additionally, she highlighted her efforts to combat the Fentanyl crisis in Georgia and to hold individuals like Anthony Fauci accountable for their actions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As the interview progressed, the hosts persisted in inquiring whether Greene would consider the offer to be Trump’s running mate. Eventually, Greene relented and admitted that she would think of such an opportunity.
She said, “That’s something I would think about very seriously. And I would be honored if he asked.”
Greene’s comments arrived after Donald Trump’s fourth indictment, further intensifying the political atmosphere. The former president faces 19 felony charges related to his alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 Georgia election.

Earlier this year, during the lead-up to Trump’s potential third indictment, Greene vehemently denounced the legal actions as baseless and accused Special Counsel Jack Smith of weaponizing the government for political ends.
In a tirade, she said, “This is the only way that the Democrats have to beat President Trump—arrest him, smear him, charge him with ridiculous charges.”
“All in cover-up of Joe Biden’s crimes, Hunter Biden’s crimes,” she added.
Several social media users expressed their thoughts on the incident.
