A woman is in a coma and is suffering from life-threatening injuries after she and her partner a Croatian medieval wall that was featured in Game of Thrones.

The Australian couple fell from the 33-foot wall in Dubrovnik at around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday after the 26-year-old woman leaned on her 34-year-old partner, according to the Sydney Morning Herald. They were taken to General Hospital Dubrovnik.
The hospital’s director Dr. Marija Bekić told the local media outlet Dubrovacki Vjesnik that the woman was in an intensive care unit in an induced coma due to a life-threatening condition.
Dr. Ivan Benčić, a trauma specialist at General Hospital Dubrovnik, said the woman had spinal and brain damage, along with vertebral fractures. The man had surgery on a broken leg but is in a stable condition, according to Croatian broadcaster HRT.

Andrijana Biskup, a Dubrovnik-Neretva Police Department spokesperson, said in a statement to local news outlet Dubrovacka Televizija that it is believed the fall was entirely accidental.
Breathalyzer tests found that the couple had been under the influence of alcohol when they fell, as the man had a blood alcohol reading of over 0.2 and the woman was at 0.3.
The historic quarter of Dubrovnik by the Pile Gate has become a popular tourist destination after it was featured prominently in Game of Thrones.

A spokesperson for Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade told Insider in a statement that it is providing consular assistance to the two Australians.
