Lady Gaga has revealed how she gives herself an “extra boost of confidence” with her beauty routine.
The pop star explained how her make-up routine has helped to boost her confidence.
“The two things that I like about make-up in my self-care routine is that I know it’s an extension of my skincare from the morning,” the 37-year-old told the outlet. “The second thing is that it gives me an extra boost of confidence. I feel I’m able to brave whatever is coming my way because I’ve really taken time for myself.”

The Poker Face hitmaker stated that although she doesn’t believe that make-up is an everyday necessity, she has tailored her beauty routine to make her feel good from the inside out.
“It has been a healing practice for me since I was really young,” the singer shared. “I was incredibly insecure when I was a teenager, and when I graduated high school and went off on my own, I discovered that make-up had the power to transform who I was.”
Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, said that make-up helped her feel more confident and allowed her to find her voice.
“I realised that I had more of an ability to speak up for myself,” she commented. “And it had more to do with how I felt and not how I looked. I always say that because I think everybody’s make-up style is unique to them.”
