Dog the Bounty Hunter goes on homophobic rant, threatens violence against Dylan Mulvaney

Dog the Bounty Hunter delivered a string of homophobic comments during an interview Tuesday with online Christian ministry founder Sharell Barrera.

Sitting alongside his wife Francie, who emphatically cheered him on, the reality star repeatedly targeted the LGBTQ+ community and said he’d give two black eyes to Dylan Mulvaney, the transgender woman swept up in the Bud Light controversy.

“If I ever see him, I’m dropping him,” Dog said, in what appeared to be a purposeful misgendering of Mulvaney.

“The pride comes before the fall,” Dog stated earlier in the conversation, referring to the recent Pride Month celebrations across the country. “God made Adam and Eve … not Adam and Steve.”

Throughout the discussion, he tied his beliefs to his Christian faith, but used particularly violent language.

“There’s two ways to rebuke (homosexual individuals): in Jesus’ name and then physically,” Dog said, to which Barrera replied, laughing, “You like laying hands on people, Dog, and I have a feeling it’s not the type of hands we do in the church.

“Jesus was not a sissy,” said Dog, whose real name is Duane Chapman, claiming he’d recently heard a preacher assert, “we don’t need no more sissy men.”

After TMZ posted an article about the video, labeling it as homophobic, Barrera went on a Facebook tirade.

“TMZ just aired lies about my Facebook live they are calling us hateful for taking a stand for the Rainbow!” Barrera wrote. “#whowillstand who will stand with us?”

Amid the backlash that quickly followed the video, Dog’s daughter Lyssa Chapman distanced herself from the words of her father.

“I’m honestly embarrassed to be mentioned on this hateful, disgusting, trash spewing out of my father’s mouth. You all know I’m a daddy’s girl and I love my father. However, this crosses a line. I was not raised by this man, he was not this way until recently,” Lyssa Chapman wrote on Facebook.
