U.S. E.P.A. Administrator Michael Regan along with Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro are set to be on the ground in East Palestine Tuesday — this as a new health clinic to help address residents’ concerns.

“We’re so grateful for their partnership even experts including toxicologists from poison control center are going to be included in this,” said Laura Fauss Public Information Officer for Columbiana County Health District.
The health clinic has been set up by the Ohio Department of Health and will be located inside of the First Church of Christ on West Martin street in East Palestine.
“The county health department that usually does food inspections and looks at septic systems we’re health specialists but not in train derailments,” said Fauss.
Residents can be seen by appointment only and those who have questions or concerns and want to schedule a time to meet with experts can call 234-564-7755 or 234-564-7888.
As of now, the clinic is set to be open Tuesday through Saturday.

“It’s going to depend on demand. We will have a chance to expand that if we need to into next week or maybe even move it to a different location if that makes it more available or accessible to people,” said Fauss. “It’s people that are experts in their field, they’re really going to get a chance to refer if necessary or talk through whatever is going on there.”
The clinic will begin Tuesday and its opening will coincide with the visit from the U.S. E.P.A. Administrator Regan as well as Governors DeWine and Shapiro.
This — as there are a number of other high-profile visits scheduled for later this week in East Palestine.
