Kellie Pickler’s husband, Kyle Jacobs, has died by apparent suicide at the age of 49.
Metropolitan Nashville Police spokesperson Don Aaron confirmed to The Post that Jacobs was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot at the couple’s home on Friday.

After Pickler and her personal assistant searched the home, they realized a door upstairs was locked.
Despite numerous attempts to get through the door, the pair called the police, who arrived at the home shortly after 1 p.m. local time.
Just one day before Jacobs’ tragic death, he celebrated the success of a recent song he wrote alongside country star Lee Brice.
“Platinum?! SWEEEET!!! An amazing crew of incredibly talented peeps put this one together…Deeply honored to be a creative part of it…Thank you Jesus!!!” he wrote on Instagram.

The Minnesota-born songwriter has also worked with artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Randy Travis, Scott McCreery, Tim McGraw and George Strait.

In fact, he helped Garth Brooks write his 2007 No. 1 hit song “More Than A Memory.”
Pickler first rose to fame when she came in sixth place on “American Idol” and went on to marry Jacobs in 2011. The pair doesn’t share any children.
During their decade-long marriage, the two starred on their own CMT reality show, “I Love Kellie Pickler,” from 2015 to 2017.
