Train services between Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa are cancelled or delayed, after a defect with a road over a rail bridge was found.
Great Western Railway said the cancellations came after a “safety inspection” of the track at Cheltenham Spa found a “possible defect” with a road over a rail bridge in Cheltenham.

Trains could be cancelled, delayed by up to 40 minutes, or revised, the rail operator said.
People with a ticket can use selected Stagecoach bus routes between Cheltenham and Gloucester.
A Great Western Railway spokesperson said: “Network Rail has specialist staff on their way to site to inspect the bridge.

“Until this has been done we are unable to run trains between Cheltenham Spa and Gloucester, this will also affect our services between Gloucester and Worcester stations.”
