Donald Trump used the last hours of 2022 to take a swipe at those he deems to be ‘destroying’ America.
The former U.S. president took to his self-created alt-tech media platform, Truth Social, to wish his rivals a Happy New Year.
He name checked Mitch McConnell, his wife Elaine Chao, as well as Nancy Pelosi in a separate post while wishing those who ‘love and cherish’ the U.S.
The billionaire’s back-handed message has so far been reposted and commented on thousands of times.
Trump created Truth Social after he was booted off Twitter in January 2021 though he has since been reinstated after the controversial $44 billion takeover by Chief Twit Elon Musk.
‘HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of the Radical Left Democrats, Marxist Lunatics, China loving Coco Chow and her Obedient Husband, Mitch, and Clueless RINOS, who are working so hard to DESTROY our once great Country,’ the post reads.
Trump and former first lady Melania Trump celebrated the New Year at Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida.

A month out from midterm elections Trump launched a direct attack on McConnell and Chao.
He ridiculed McConnell, saying on his social media platform that the Kentucky Republican had a ‘death wish’ for supporting ‘Democrat sponsored bills.’
Trump also took the opportunity to mock McConnell’s wife – who was born in Taiwan and served as Trump’s secretary of transportation – referring to her as McConnell’s ‘China loving wife, Coco Chow!’
The first post had been widely criticized as racist, but the former U.S. president once again referred to Chao in that manner in his New Year’s post.
He goes on to belittle ‘clueless RINOS,’ a term used to refer to ‘Republicans in name only’ before promising his supporters that 2023 could see a renaissance of the Trump era.

‘More importantly, HAPPY NEW YEAR to the Incredible, Brave, and Strong American Patriots who Built, Love, and Cherish America,’ the post continues.

In a separate post to Truth Social, Trump is seen describing Democratic-led cities as comparable to ‘war zones.’
‘They are more dangerous than most war zones,’ he said.
‘The USA is a Nation in Decline, and the Democrats will never be able to fix it — But I will AGAIN bring our once great Nation back from the BRINK and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!’

Just minutes before posting about what he deemed his legacy while in the White House.
‘This is the year that Nancy Pelosi became the first woman to lose the House of Representatives twice in a lifetime and lose two highly partisan and ill-conceived Impeachment Hoax’s to a President who created the best Economy, with no Inflation, Energy Independence, and the safest Southern Border in the history of our Country,’ he wrote.
‘Pelosi also failed to follow my recommendation to have 10,000 to 20,000 soldiers available to protect D.C. from the Election Fraud Protest of January 6th.’

The former president acknowledged the campaign is still two years away, but he suggested that his campaign, which will be based out of Palm Beach, is doing ‘really well.’
‘I saw poll numbers just today that were fantastic,’ he said.
